About
Welcome to my e-portfolio! This website serves to reflect my growth throughout my early teaching years!
My name is Blythe Knapczyk and I am a Interactions Teacher with EPSB! With my B.Ed. in Elementary Education, I hold a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology, I am well-versed in recent practices and theories in childhood development, and pedagogy. This has helped guide my teaching philosophy and the way I want to teach to be informed by scientific knowledge, critical-thinking prowess, and application to everyday life skills for all students.
My passion for teaching stems from my love for working with children, to help student's find their own unique way in the world and see them grow and develop into a critical thinker and explorer. My goal as a teacher is to have my students engage with the world, and be able to critically analyze and apply their knowledge in their schoolwork and the world around them.
Through this, my future educational dream would be working in an elementary setting, utilizing my passions in photography, technology, literature, and politics to guide students where they are free thinkers who are passionate and want to play and explore as they learn.
